Arrival at Denpasar Airport (-/-/-)

Arrival at Denpasar Airport. Reception, then downtown transfer. The rest of the day is free to rest or to make a first discovery of the city.

Denpasar – Tanah Lot – Belalang(B/-/-)

Morning and early afternoon free to recover from the long flight of the day before and enjoy the swimming pool.

In the middle of the afternoon, departure with your guide for a walk (around 1h30) to the beach. You will continue your escapade through two typical Balinese villages, surrounded by beautiful rice fields and with a view of the volcanoes of Bali if the weather permits. The arrival on the beach is surprising: rice fields, palm trees, black sand, local atmosphere guaranteed! Fresh (non-alcoholic) drinks and/or coconuts are served on the beach for the sunset.

Belalang – Munduk (B/-/-)

In the morning, meeting at the hotel, with the English speaking guide, who will accompany you for the rest of your stay and your driver will pick you up at your hotel to take you to Munduk.

On the road, stop at the village of Wongaya Gede where the temple of Batukaru, which means "coconut" in reference to the mount Batukaru on which it was erected.

Then unique immersion: the Jatiluwih rice fields site, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. These rice fields form a natural amphitheatre that gives a very beautiful view of the Balinese irrigation system. Exceptional panoramic view for photos while enjoying a walk in the heart of these rice fields.

Munduk(B/-/-)

A day dedicated to local gastronomy with a cooking class with your host. For lunch, discover Balinese culinary secrets and prepare yourself a delicious traditional local meal, from appetizers to dessert. After three hours in the kitchen, enjoy the typical dishes of the island.

The rest of the day is free to explore the surroundings of Munduk with your English speaking guide, including the beautiful waterfalls.

Munduk – Amed (B/-/-)

After breakfast, departure from the Munduk mountains to Amed, on the east coast of Bali.

On the way, visit the Buddhist monastery of Brahma Vihara Arama, the only Buddhist monument on the island. Beautiful site where people are very welcoming and friendly.

After passing Singaraja and its Dutch colonial monuments, stop at Sangsit. Discovery of the numerous sculptures of the small temple of Beji, dedicated to the goddess of the rice fields, Dewi Sri.

Amed – Sidemen (B/-/-)

After breakfast, departure from the beaches of Amed to reach the countryside of Sidemen.

On the way, visit the royal thermal baths of Tirta Gangga where you can bath with the locals. This is a popular place for Balinese people who come to swim and walk with their families.

Sidemen (B/-/-)


Early in the morning, departure in the surrounding countryside of Sidemen for a walk between rice fields and plantations. On your way, you will come across rice and fruit farmers of all kinds. You cross fields of cloves, salaks (snake fruit), cocoa and other plantations that make up the lush tropical vegetation of Bali. It will be especially the occasion to admire the rice fields in staircase which draw the fantastic landscapes of Sidemen.

Rest of the day free to explore the surroundings of Sidemen with your English speaking guide.

Sidemen – Ubud (B/-/-)

It is time to leave the beautiful rice fields of Sidemen to reach Ubud, the cultural center of Bali.

You make a stop in Semarapura, better known as Klungkung. In the vicinity of this former royal capital, visit the old Kerta Gosa courthouse and its floating pavilion.

After breakfast, explore the cultural sites around Ubud with your English speaking guide.

You start your day with the visit of the Gunung Kawi temple famous for its ancient relics. This complex is located next to a small river and is surrounded by rice fields, you will spend a very pleasant cultural moment.

Then visit Tirta Empul. This Hindu temple located in the village of Manukaya is dedicated to purification and its name means "sacred spring" in Balinese. The waters of the ponds come from the Pakerisan River and have the reputation of being purifying and magical. Dedicated to the gods Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma and Indra, Tirta Empul is considered one of the holiest temples in Bali.

It is the perfect opportunity to discover the Hindu religion and thus understand more about the spiritual culture of the Balinese.

Finally, head to Tegallalang, a village north of Ubud with a magnificent view of terraced rice fields cascading down waterfalls. The main viewpoint is very busy but you will be calmer if you venture into the heart of the rice fields. The village is also considered an important handicraft center of Bali.

Ubud – Gili Asahan (B/-/-)

Early in the morning you leave Ubud to reach the port of Serangan.

Transfer from Serangan by fast boat to Gili Gede. You disembark, then board on a local fisherman's boat, waiting for you to reach Gili Asahan. You disembark directly on the beach of your hotel.

Afternoon at leisure on Gili Asahan.

Gili Asahan – Balangan (B/-/-)

Last morning in this remote little paradise.

In the middle of the day, transfer from Gili Asahan by local boat to Gili Gede then transfer by fast boat from Gili Gede to Serangan. Your driver is waiting for you, you leave Serangan to reach Balangan, in the south of Bali.
