Arrival
at Denpasar Airport. You will be
welcomed by the guide, then transfer to Ubud. The rest of the day is free to
rest or to make a first discovery of the city.
Overnight
in Ubud. (The hotel room is available from 2p.m).
After your breakfast, meet your driver and tour guide for
exploring Balinese nature and culture.
First, you will drive to Gunung Kawi Temple popularly known as The Valley of The Balinese Kings is an 11th-century temple visit. It is famous for its ancient relics, this complex is located next to a small river and is surrounded by rice fields.
Then, reach Tampaksiring Village to explore Tirta Empul, a Hindu Balinese water temple, famous for its sacred spring water. Praised for Balinese to bathe at least once a year and attractseveral foreign adapt for a ritual cleansing in these holy waters dedicated to Vishnu. Splendid architecture and worldwide known for its pilgrims who want to receive a water blessing into the ponds.
Lunch in local restaurant with in front of Batur volcano which offers also a splendid view on Batur Lakes and also on Agung Volcano.
In the afternoon, we stop at famous coffee plantation to learn about coffee culture and all exotic tastes created by Balinese. Why not try kopi luwak, also known as civet coffee, one of the world’s finest, and most expensive coffee.
Then, stop to the charming Tangkup Waterfall. This waterfall less famous compared to its waterfall cousins, is just as charming and exotic. One of the beautiful and untouched waterfalls in Bangli region.
Fianlly, you will walk into Tegalalang Rice Terrace, which comprises a series of cascading rice paddies. This UNESCO World Heritage site, is perfect illustration of innovative irrigation rice system (subak) that dates back to the eleventh century.
Transfer back to Ubud.

but mountain-edge swingers are really popular attraction to take photos. The
line for the swingers can request a long waiting time during busy season and
can affect rest of the tour.

<!--[endif]-->Temples visit: in Bali, it is mandatory to wear pants or long dress, to
cover breast with a scarf and to behave appropriately. But it is not the case
of all temples, please bring extra cloth or sarong in your backpack in case.
This morning, we will start the day atNeka Art Museum. This impressive museum is an excellent introduction to Balinese art. Exposed in several pavilions, it will give overview of Balinese local art (wayang style), Indonesian arts and foreign art influences.
Then,visit the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, featuring three ancient Hindu temples, jungle-covered pathways lined with mysterious statues and several groups of playful monkeys. More than 600 macaques own this place, so be careful with your belongings.
After lunch, direction to the south-west, to the vibrant city of Kuta. Kuta was the first city where tourism developed in Bali. Indeed, since 1960 this place became a must do destination for surfers and to assist to beautiful sunset.
On the way,we will stop to some traditional crafting village. First, we will visit traditional Silver Makers. Witness the traditional way of working gold and silver by the artisans.
Continue with a short transfer to the east to visit an authentic fabric of Batik. This art became really commercial in Bali or in other countries as Vietnam. Here, locals work like in the past: by hand or with old machines. Perfect place to learn a pure traditional Indonesian art.
Finally, enjoy the amazing views of Tegenungan Waterfall surrounded by jungle, impressively green valley panorama with cascading water as a centerpiece. The falls are only several minutes’ walk down the trail
Overnight in Kuta.
Note:
Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary: temple access is only reserved for the faithful. Also, never look a monkey directly in the eyes.Day at leisure until 4p.m
We head to the south of Bali and reach the Uluwatu Temple and assist to the beautiful sunset.
Indeed, this 1,000
years old Bali temple, sits on a steep cliff approximately 70 meters above the
crashing ocean. Perfect moment to catch up the vibrant colours for the sunset
and its georgous panorama.
Finally, assist to a must to see art perfomance: the ‘Kecak’ fire dance. This traditionnal dance can be seen anywhere on the island. However, you will assist to this exiting show directly at Uluwatu Temple, surrounding by beautiful view and sunset.
After thiswarmingexperience, we go back to Kuta Hotel.
